3 things you can do with Raspberries....sweet!

It is a rainy day but it brings great thoughts of how wonderful the "berry" season will be next month. Dakota and I love raspberries so with the new pink items supplied by Pampered Chef for the Help Whip Cancer campaign... I am off in our test kitchen creating some very sweet treats.
My first recipe is a juice, with raspberries of course!
In my juicer I have the following:
1 beet
1 pint of raspberries
1 apple
1 carrot
1 banana
Juice the above and enjoy an amazing PINK looking drink. I poured the juice in the Pink and White dot martini glasses and used lemon juice to rim the glasses in the Sweet Honey Vanilla Sprinkles, both provided by Pampered Chef. I served them in our kitchen and they flew out the door....so good.

Help Whip Cancer

In order for us to "Whip Cancer" we not only need to support great campaigns like the Pampered Chef's, "Help Whip Cancer", we also need to be diligent on the food we choose to eat and serve our families. As the Cook Once, Produce Twice Queen I have once again found a way to enjoy the "Pink" Products supplied by Pampered Chef(with a portion of the proceeds going to the Canadian Cancer Society)and use them to turn raspberries into three great dishes.

Well I am very excited to be sharing a wonderful charity from our good friends at Pampered Chef....Whip for Cancer! Pickering College 100th Anniversary Gala event

Met Jamie Kennedy, renowned Canadian Chef with Tanya Bradley by my side at the Annual Pickering College Gala. What a wonderful evening with the money being raised for this iconic school in Newmarket, Ontario. The meal was also accompanied by Sommelier-Owner, James Treadwell and we enjoyed each course with a description of the food from Jamie and James with an understanding of the wine they chose to pair each with....it was a wonderful evening!!!

Rogers Community 10 tv shoot

Well I just experienced my first live show with the hosts of daytime York Region. We started off with one segment on the show but with the amount of food.....cook once, produce twice......they needed almost 3 segments! The crew and hosts of the daytime show were great and I learned a lot about live television, we will send an update when the episode is posted on our website @ www.marlenesmealmakeovers.com
